The NEASO Elections committee is offering a remote voting option to members who cannot be present at the vote on Monday. Detailed instructions are below.

*To vote remotely, you must register with Jean before 11 am on Monday and fax your ballot between Noon and 4 p.m. EDT on Monday.*

REMOTE VOTING INSTRUCTIONS

If you cannot be present to cast your ballot on the Tentative Agreement at the NEASO meeting on Monday, June 8, you can vote via fax between Noon and 4 p.m. EDT on Monday, June 8.

• Contact Jean in the NEASO office between 11 a.m. on Monday and tell her you need to vote remotely. Call (202) 822-7808 or Email JMondejar@nea.org. 

• Jean will give you a voting ID number to write on your ballot. 

• Once you have the voting ID number, dowload and print out the remote vote ballot here.
  
  
• Mark your ballot and FAX your ballot to the number provided on the ballot between Noon and 4 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Monday, June 8th.
  
  Note: Your voting ID number - not your name - must be clearly visible on the faxed ballot. If your voting ID number is not legible on the ballot, that ballot will not be counted. 

• The election committee will check the voting ID numbers on the ballotts to insure they match the list of voting ID numbers that Jean has assigned to ensure there are no duplicates or made-up numbers. Election committee members will only see the voting ID numbers. They will NOT see the names associated with the numbers.
  

We encourage all NEASO staff to attend the meeting and vote on Monday. Please DO NOT request an ID voting number if you are available to vote in person.
